Communication
Communication: the basis for information security
When it comes to information security, people often first think of technology: ICT, computer networks, hackers, … It is certainly true that technology is important – but it is not the basis. This is confirmed by the incidents involving information security reported on daily, in the newspapers.
To give you just one example: a costly firewall and a complex Intrusion Prevention program – but a system manager who does not alter the standard (publicly known) password, or who is unable to correctly install the program due to its complexity.
Most information security incidents are due to non-technical causes, for example the absence of clear agreements with the staff.
Adjectivum Consultancy and communication
In all of our services, communication is a core component: sound agreements with all stakeholders, clarity on roles and responsibilities, an understanding of objectives so everyone knows where they are heading, and everyone can make a contribution. Only if policy, guidelines, procedures and reports are drawn up within such a framework is it possible to ensure sound information security.
International communication
For internationally-operating businesses and for customers with partners abroad, we also provide consultancy, advice and other information services in a range of languages – of course taking full account of cultural differences. International communication covers a wide range of subjects. Naturally our main focus is information security and ICT, but entirely different areas such as applications for e-ticketing and e-payment are covered.
For all these services, Adjectivum Consultancy collaborates with partner businesses in various countries.
